Pool Day!

Pool day at the Loews Hotel!  We did not stay here but there pool was close to our actual hotel and easy to get into! The pool water was still too cold for my Florida girl acclimation, so I hung out in the hot tub in 90 degree weather.  I am sure people thought I was a fruit cake but non the less it was so pretty there!  I highly recommend finding a luxury pool to hang out at if you are ever in the South Beach area!

Viva Miami

I love Saturdays!  Everyones always so happy, it's the official start to the weekend!  The morning started out with a nice session at the beach and then to Lincoln Road for some shopping and some frozen hot chocolate, (because why the heck not?).  In most major cities around the US and more there are these bike renting stations to rent bikes at any station and then ride them and return them at any other station in the area, so we took advantage of this fun leisure and road down Ocean Drive.  This is kind of really hard, especially if it's a busy day, weaving through crowds of people is not as leisurely as you would hope.   In my obsession with all things eye related, I found a purse at Aldo that was literally an eye, unfortunately practicality trumps lust.  I wore my favorite beach cover up from Topshop for the day, it is great in Florida because it actually lets your skin breathe in the thick humidity!

Collins Ave

Another trip to South Beach! This time for my friends 23rd birthday!  We got in really late on Friday night so we got dressed and grabbed a bite to eat and then we just walked around the Loews hotel at 2 am and I fantasized about the palms!  Palm trees are one of my favorites because they are so recognizable, really really tall and the palm fronds are always perfect!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter folks!  I decided to whip out my GoPro for a good group family shot! besides the fact that no one understood how it worked, the picture turned out good and it was fun!  Every easter I deal with this weird dilemma where I search my closet for pastels or bright colors and I always come up empty handed.  Fashion wise I like to steer clear from those colors because I don't feel comfortable wearing them.  anyways I found an old sheer purple shirt from Express that I got about 8 years ago and it shows with its 3-4 miscellaneous holes; so I threw it over a body con dress and called it a day! I also brought a dozen of Gigi's cupcakes that were decorated all cute for Easter( as seen pictured)! I hope you and your families had a Happy Easter!

Strolled through Collins Park on South Beach and got some good hand/head stands in and played on the art structures.  I really liked the main piece that said "REALFAKE", especially for Miami it was very true to its scene. Everything about these pictures I enjoy, the vibrance of the grass and the trees and the gold letters, it all photographs wonderfully! Additionally, I have to thank my friend Ashten for making me do all these head/hand stands because they do look pretty cool!

South beach pro

My friend Ashten and I went to South Beach and played around with the GoPro and the GoPole!  This camera is so much fun, regardless of the cool pictures.  One interesting is that since you can not see what your taking a picture of  while you are taking the picture, you take roughly a million pictures and laugh a lot!

LIV

I have never been to a night club before and I am 21 almost 22. Apparently this is a very surprising revelation to most of Miami, thus my friend was able to get us in and go to LIV at the Fontaine Bleau.
The atmosphere inside was insane and with ULTRA music fest in town the DJ Kaskade was preforming at the time and brought the energy level to a different level of insane.  I super enjoyed the decor, lights and watching the dancers and everything was highly entertaining especially being completely sober.

MIAMI

This past weekend I went to South Beach, Miami to visit one of my friends who is currently living there. Miami has a very unique appeal, you either love it or you hate it.   I enjoy the views and shopping and warm warm weather.   Here are a few pictures from Saturday, strolling around and enjoying Lincoln road, indulging in macaroons and frozen peanut butter hot chocolate. (Yum)
