LaGuardiaNecessities

Long days at LaGuardia call for a nice cold coca-cola and some serious blogging on their free ipads!  Also a good old fashion magazine is perfect for those long waits on the run way!
I got the first edition of Porter from the company Net-A-Porter and I love it, every page is captivating with all of there fashion advise!
Additionally I got the New York magazine because Alec Baldwin was on the cover along with a interesting article.

ChelseaMarket

I have always heard about the Chelsea Market so this time I had to go check it out! It was a lot smaller than I had anticipated, but it was very trendy and cute!  They had a wide variety of foods from donuts to sushi.  Aesthetically it was very pleasing and worth the trip, however it is not a place that took up a whole lot of time.

UPtown

Sitting on the steps of the New York public library to hanging out in front of the Flatiron building to standing on the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center, the city is truly a sight to be seen.  My feet are not as pleased as my eyes as I chose to walk most of this trip.  The Empire State Building is the most captivating architecture to me, it is so simple and massive that it just blows my mind for one reason or another.  I much like going to the Top of the Rock more than the top of Empire State Building, in my opinion you get a much better view and the lines are so much shorter!

CentralPark

Woke up early and strolled through Times Square, this is a must for me.  In the morning time it is so quiet but everything is so big and you can really just take it all in and not get carried away in the hustle and bustle.  We got to Central Park and were breath taken with the snow and bare trees, atop of the rocks you really see how beautiful the park is!  Strolling through the park is the most serene thing for me in the City because its were you see everything!  Then we went to Laduree and got some macarons and then I window shopped the heck out of Oscar De La Renta because I adore his designs and the windows are so beautiful!
Always remember to appreciate designers, yea you may not buy out the store or anything at all but it is art in a more wearable setting, and are worth appreciating!

Rockefeller Center!

Took a night time stroll through Rockefeller Center!  I love this place, like everywhere else in NYC!  I love the trees that are lit up, what seems like year round and the magic of the ice skating!  It it such a monumental place with its own energy and space!  We walked up 7th Ave and I read almost every one of the stones for Fashion Ave's walk of fame.  This was so cool to me just reading about all of the various designers most of which I was familiar with and some others that I had no clue about!  I had to take a picture with my most favorite Oscar de La Renta.

DowntownNYC

Just got back from my trip to NYC! I feel the need to go there at least once a year or else my heart is sad.   As soon as me and my boyfriend got there we started walking south of our hotel (Hotel Pennsylvania)  and stopped as we wanted to do things.  We walked down through Chelsea, across to Washington Square Park and then I shopped my heart out in Soho.  We made it just in time for our reservation at the newly opened Laduree of W Broadway.
This little piece of Paris in New York City is divine, it is very small though.  I would highly recommend this as a lunch spot with your girlfriends!  I got the Club Laduree which was fantastic and my boyfriend got the Mini Burger de Boeuf which were hands down the best!  We were do full and did not get desert,  with knowledge that we would be on the upper east side the next day.
After our lunch we headed towards the Trade Center Memorial Tower and then over to the water to look at the Statue of Liberty in the distance.  It was so quiet out by the water and the trees were breathtaking I couldn't help myself but to look up and snap some shots.  We made our way back up through China town and Wall street before our last stop at Dean and Deluca to be swept away by their flowers and deserts!
So all in all I hurt so bad after this day!  We walked nearly 10 miles and just really did whatever we wanted and wanted to see the city from the streets and not from the inside of a taxicab,  I highly recommend this if your ever in the city, being on top of a tour bus gives you a marvelous vantage point to observe the architecture but walking lets you experience really NYC life and people.

PilottoTuesday

I decided to wear my Pilotto today! I love love love this crop top, especially with this high waisted skirt!  It is my favorite combo of black and white with a little twist with the design! Here in Florida, crop tops are actually appropriate because it is really hot, however there is a classy way to do it!   I have seen people wear crop tops with low waisted skirts or shorts and it looks beyond trashy.  I like this version because I only show a 2-3 inch span of the top of my abdomen that is the slimmest part, this gives for a more over all flattering look for your physique.

Outfit:
Top: Peter Pilotto for Target
Skirt: Urban Outfitters
Bracelet: Third Eye from my local Greek Glendi

Casual

A few weeks back my boyfriends family and mine went out to dinner.  We went to a place in Tampa, Fl called Texas De Brazil. They cut the meat right off a giant skewer, it's really odd but so good and a really fun experience. They had this salad bar which was alright, but I was breathtaking with the flower arrangement they had on it so of course I snapped a shot.  I played it simple and nice with some black pants and gold heels with  a black and red blazer with gold embellishments, I felt it gave off the right theme of casual yet simply dressed up without trying too hard.

Outfit:
Top: white tee from Top Shop
Pants : Moto Leigh's from Top Shop
Blazer: gift from a friend
Shoes: Dolce Vita
