BahamasLove

I am in love with the Bahamas and it's beautiful luxurious waters.
I have never been so captivated by blues and I have never seen and got to play with so many beautiful creatures.

I encourage everyone to take a trip there and experience things you have never done before.  The beach is a better choice than the city there any day, for reference.

SummerEssentials

I have lived in Florida my entire life, in a beachy town along the gulf coast.  Over the course of my life, all 21 years of it, I have learned a lot about the beach and what you will need while you're there.
With that said here are my essential items and the reasons they are important...
Goggles and snorkels: there is so much life in the ocean it is important to me to explore it and plus it's a lot of fun and a nice way to cool off.
GoPro: it's water proof and it takes it takes the coolest pictures.
Life proof: it helps keep the sand out of my phone and if your can't afford or don't want a go pro it takes good pictures in the water.
Fish eye lens: I use this with the Lifeproof case for half underwater pictures.
Sunscreen: this is the most important! I have very fair skin and a history of skin cancer so I always wear 80 spf or higher, I recommend this even if you don't have fair skin because sun damage is irreversible.
Book: reading on the beach is super relaxing and therapeutic.
Vita Coco: in my opinion this is better than water when your outside all day, it's very high in potassium and it helps keep you hydrated.
Cliff bar: a fulfilling and delicious snack that doesn't take up much room in your beach bag.
Shoes: always sandals, never be the weirdo in tennis shoes or anything but sandals!
Surfboard: because surfboart and it's fun to lay on/in the water. Plus, we don't get good waves here in the gulf.
Last but not least towel: don't be that person in a raggedy beach towel, look stylish and simple. I always use this black and white number it's big, spacious, and soft!

P.S. no sea creatures were hurt or killed while obtaining these pictures!

South beach pro

My friend Ashten and I went to South Beach and played around with the GoPro and the GoPole!  This camera is so much fun, regardless of the cool pictures.  One interesting is that since you can not see what your taking a picture of  while you are taking the picture, you take roughly a million pictures and laugh a lot!

Cozumel/MEXICO

Spent one of the first days of 2014 on the Island of Cozumel, Mexico.  This place's water is phenomenal however, it was raining and cloudy so there was no way of me taking a dip in the water so I just had to enjoy the view on a cliff over looking the storm and waves! (bummer)  We also got to visit a hole in the wall tequila place that makes there tequila the old fashion way with no chemicals, just pure agave.  This land is so undeveloped that it's hard not to appreciate the views with their vibrant colors and all!  I have always enjoyed Mexico I would love to test out the other coast line of this country sometime, as I have only been able to enjoy the east coast!

KeyWest

I was blessed to be able to cap off 2013 in one of my favorite places, Key West, Florida.  Only a mere 7 hour drive from where I reside but this time I was able to cruise there via the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship.  The water on this island is absolutely perfect, almost all year round!  There was not a whole lot of time so we just strolled Duval Street and did some drinking and some shopping!

ParaParaParadise.

I do not think there will ever be a time that I am not grateful for where I live.  Sarasota is simply beautiful, without trying at all.  The Gulf of Mexico is the most serene body of water, in my opinion, and in the middle of December being able to dip your toes in the water is the most refreshing feeling!  If you ever get the chance to sit at home or go out an experience where you live, choose the latter!

Miami: MiamiBeach

Last day in Miami we had breakfast on Ocean Drive then headed to the beach to bask in the sun and play in the colder waters of the Atlantic!  It's so much different than the Gulf of Mexico which I am used too, but I loved it!  The lifegaurd stands were all Art Deco however most were run down but they were cool none the less.    Mostly we played with my life proof case and GoPro Hero3 and had a jolly old time!
