WarpedTour

It's Warper Tour time!  I still haven't decided if I am going this year...however I wanted to write a little blog to give you all some helpful tips, that are attending this year!

1.  Wear sunscreen, that sun is harsh out there and while you are waiting for your band to go on there is no protection at most of the venues!

2.  HYDRATE! two years ago at warped I literally passed out of heat exhaustion, I was drinking water the entire time but I wasn't drinking any thing with electrolytes! I recommend drinking coconut water or Gatorade.

3.  It is not a fashion show! wear something light and easy to move in and that you are not afraid to get dirty!

4.  Bring a small back pack to put any merch. and the rest of your stuff in! It is super helpful in those large crowds.

5.  First thing in the morning get the set list and circle all the ones you want to see and map out where the stages are! you never want to be lagging in the back of the crowd because you got lost, or mismanaged your time!

6.  PAY ATTENTION, people will randomly mosh, you don't want to get hit.

7. Have fun, you can have the time of your life here, don't be stupid, just have fun!

Twenty2

Today I turn 22!  I love birthdays, I always want everyone to have a wonderful day, if it's the only on they have that year, thats the day I want them to be happy!  For me I just want to be at the beach.  Every year ,like clock work, I go to the beach (unless I am physically in a place that doesn't have a beach).  This year will be no different, I will be swimming away in the Gulf, not getting sun burnt of course.
So in light of the twenty two-ness festivities, my friend brought me these balloons and I decided to have a little fun photo shoot with them, so they could last forever of course.

Outfit:
Top: Crop top from Topshop
Shorts: Embellished shorts from Topshop

TrianglSwim

After a year of lusting after Triangl Swimwear from Australia, I finally made the jump and clicked submit on my order!  Buying a swim suit online is the most complicated thing to me, I mean have you ever thought a bathing suit was going to look good and tried it on and realized it was the worst idea ever...Well my sentiments exactly.  I ended up buying the indy, because it had the ties on the sides of the bottoms and I figured if it was a little small or large I could just use the ties to adjust it to fit, rather than a standard size bottom not fitting and having to ship it all the way back to China.  I was  super happy with the purchase!  It fits so nice and the neoprene isn't as suffocating in this hot humid Florida weather as I thought it would be!  The color is so vibrant and perfect for summer!  The only cons I really have is that the neoprene, because it is very light in color, stains really easily, from dirt and anything in the environment.  Next time I will be getting a darker colored suit!  Also a tip if you decide to get one, is to buy a size up; I normally wear a small but I went with a medium and its still a little small on the top but still wearable! A cool thing about Triangl is that every swim suit comes with a neoprene sting back pack that matches the suit, which I think is really cool and convenient!
All in all, I am super happy that I hit submit on my order and I can anticipate it happening again in the future!

Shopping Tips and Tricks

When it comes to shopping I find, that having the right strategy can go a long way for your personal style and wardrobe.  I thought it would be fun to shake things up again, and give some tips to shopping that have helped me both financially and fashionably!

NEVER buy too much, When you decide to go out shopping, never go for an all out shopping spree.  I believe in shopping more frequently to get quality instead of shopping occasionally to get quantity.  Personally, I shop a a lot, whether its travel, online or just because I am bored but each time I only get 1 or 2 things that way I build my wardrobe and its ever changing year round, rather than changing it out every season.

It's OK to splurge, If you see something you like and it is a little pricey, GET IT!  I always fall in love with a piece and I will pass on it and after two weeks of thinking about it non-stop, I go back to get it and it's not available anymore.  This is the worst feeling, so don't hesitate, just get what you want if you really like it!

Stick to the basics, If you don't know what to get, get the basics.  You can never have enough white and black T-shirts, or jeans or what ever it is you can wear daily, no matter where you are going.

SummerEssentials

I have lived in Florida my entire life, in a beachy town along the gulf coast.  Over the course of my life, all 21 years of it, I have learned a lot about the beach and what you will need while you're there.
With that said here are my essential items and the reasons they are important...
Goggles and snorkels: there is so much life in the ocean it is important to me to explore it and plus it's a lot of fun and a nice way to cool off.
GoPro: it's water proof and it takes it takes the coolest pictures.
Life proof: it helps keep the sand out of my phone and if your can't afford or don't want a go pro it takes good pictures in the water.
Fish eye lens: I use this with the Lifeproof case for half underwater pictures.
Sunscreen: this is the most important! I have very fair skin and a history of skin cancer so I always wear 80 spf or higher, I recommend this even if you don't have fair skin because sun damage is irreversible.
Book: reading on the beach is super relaxing and therapeutic.
Vita Coco: in my opinion this is better than water when your outside all day, it's very high in potassium and it helps keep you hydrated.
Cliff bar: a fulfilling and delicious snack that doesn't take up much room in your beach bag.
Shoes: always sandals, never be the weirdo in tennis shoes or anything but sandals!
Surfboard: because surfboart and it's fun to lay on/in the water. Plus, we don't get good waves here in the gulf.
Last but not least towel: don't be that person in a raggedy beach towel, look stylish and simple. I always use this black and white number it's big, spacious, and soft!

MetGala

Met Gala recap of my favorite looks from the Met Gala this year!
-Taylor Swift's, Oscar De La Renta is the most divine in my opinion.  The low cut back and long train are fit for a princess!
-Karolina's, Marchesa is so whimsical and looks like a dream! Also I just found out that this gown was hand painted by Patricia Chang, a young inspirational designer in NY,  who used to work there a few years ago!
-Leighton is always so chic and yet again she kills it.
-Cara is the rebel in this Stella McCartney number, but it's edgy/classy/bondage look is perfect for her and she makes it work for a fashionable Met look.

I die over high fashion, and the Met Gala is the best place to appriciate it! What's your guys favorites?
